What War is This Again?

I'mworking up some scenarios...

The first one is a scaled down version of Villars' breaking of the allies' fortified line at Denain in 1712.

Here's a WSS game without any English troops.

There are wave upon wave of French infantry, trenches, and lots of Germans.

Sound familiar, even if the uniforms aren't?

Wherein our Narrator Begins Behaving Like Uncle Toby

Yes, I do refer to that Uncle Toby. (Use Laurence Sterne or Tristram Shandy for keywords if you don't get it.)

This is my wargaming blog. I'm concentrating on the War of the Spanish Succession (WSS), but am interested in a lot of other wargaming, too.

My WSS armies are in 6mm and I like to use LOTS of them.

Like a lot of others, I like dabbling in rules writing, but I also use a set called Ga Pa. There are supposed to be little circles over the vowels. That's Swedish shorthand for "Anglophones can't pronounce this."
